Quinta Solana, a family story.
The origin of Quinta Solana is a small olive grove of 2 ha bought by Antonio after the Carnation Revolution (1974), in his native village of Brinches in the heart of Alentejo. Antonio’s favourite retirement project was his”quinta” (vegetable and fruit garden). From his work we have inherited his respect for the fertile and nourishing earth.

It was Flausino, Sylvie and Alexis’ dream to share this secret garden with the world. With the third generation, QUINTA SOLANA project took shape one evening in 2007, during a dinner at the family estate, while the sun was glowing on the horizon.
It would take 10 years of reflection, meetings and visits for the planets to align and two more years to pick our first olives.

In 2021 we are pleased to introduce you to our olive oil and tell you our story : A land and its people. Thus was born our limited edition SOLSTICE oil, whose name refers to the solar cycle.
During these years of reflection, we have met wonderful people, and have forged a bond with our land. With our production manager Luis and our agricultural engineer Germano, Flausino has surrounded himself with a passionate team of experts dedicated to the cultivation of our olive trees.
Sylvie and Alexis, the owners of the estate, oversee the commercial side.
We all share a respect for the land, a love for these great rolling plains and the Alentejo way of life. We are proud of the road we have travelled together over the last 4 years.
